Abstracts must be in English and should preferably report previously unpublished work. Speakers should prepare two A4 format pages resuming their presentation. The total length, including figures and references for poster presentations is one A4 format page. The authors are responsible for the content and style of the contribution. No editing or re-typing will be carried out by the symposium organizers. The contributions will be reproduced without reduction or modification. It is recommended to submit the paper in electronic form at the e-mail address: B.J.Harker@open.ac.uk

The submitted file must be a Microsoft Word file (.doc). Contribution submitted by fax cannot be accepted! The book of abstracts will be distributed to the participants at the conference site. The abstract should be typewritten for A4 format paper, two pages for speakers and one for poster presentations.

• Margins: Top, Bottom: 2.5 cm; Left and Right: 2 cm.
• Line spacing: 1.5 for main text, 1,0 for affiliations.

  Equation numbers must be in parentheses and place flush with right-hand margin of the column.
  The pages must not be numbered.
